Technical Content Writer
We are looking for a Technical Content Writer to help us show the world what we build, how we build it and why it matters.
Your job will help us turn our team's know-how into content that speaks to our clients and to the tech community, a challenging and rewarding task! You will work with a vibrant team focused on quality and continuous improvement.
Who you are
- You are a passionate Content Writer with a technical background whose primary responsibility will be creating content for sales & marketing and for the tech community, turning our experience in software engineering, design and AI into clear, engaging stories: from articles and posts to presentations and case studies. You can explain complex topics without losing accuracy.
- You are great at working together with engineers, designers, sales and marketing: you interview the team to bring out their stories, manage timelines and priorities, and create content that helps attract the right clients.
- You write articles for our blog, sharing what we learn on our projects with the tech community.
- You write very well and know how to adapt tone and depth to different audiences, from developers to decision makers. Let’s be honest: we don’t like AI-generated content without real human curation. AI tools are welcome in your workflow, but they are no substitute for being a great writer.
- A background in developer relations or technical writing is a big plus.
- You keep an eye on what’s happening: tech topics, social media trends, what other companies and communities are doing. You use it to decide what to create next.
- You also write content for our social channels, such as LinkedIn and Instagram, and manage them together with the rest of the marketing team.
- You are proactive and autonomous and don’t like to be micro-managed. You bring ideas, not just execution.
- You are curious and have a lot of interests (that you want to share with us!), and you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experiences with your co-workers.
- You speak Italian fluently and English proficiently.
Who we are
- We are a team of skilled people who love learning and sharing.
- We promote a culture of kindness and empathy where everyone’s voice matters.
- We continuously improve everything we do, from technical skills to internal processes. We dedicate a full day a week to our improvement.
- We take on challenging projects and build them in-house. We don’t do ‘body-rental’ of resources: we build and leverage our team’s experience to deliver high-quality software solutions to complex business problems. We are the first stakeholders of the products we build.
- We are Buildo.
Buildo evaluates applications without distinctions of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, origin, religion, disability or other personal characteristics not relevant to the role.

We assess candidates' technical and non-technical skills, attitudes, and potential to determine how we can support their growth over time, depending on the job requirements.

People ask us this a lot
And we love giving straight answers.
What is it like to work at Buildo?
We like to share moments of our life at Buildo on our Instagram profile.
You can learn more about our activities inside and outside the office, the people who work here and their points of view on the company, the technology, and our work.
I can't find an open role that's right for me. What should I do?
Don't worry! If you think Buildo might need you, go ahead and submit a spontaneous application. Please specify in the notes the value you could bring to Buildo and the role you envision for yourself.
Do you have full-remote positions?
Not exactly. Being together has always been part of Buildo's DNA. However, we have a hybrid remote work policy that considers our team's and the company's needs.
Employees are required to be physically present only on specific occasions, such as project days (one day a week dedicated to the main project the person is working on), Buildo days (one day a month), and on-site weeks (two weeks a year).
Additionally, we have introduced Remote Months, which allow our employees to work remotely for two months a year. This gives our team members the chance to spend time with their families or work from other locations across the globe.
Do you provide body rental service to your clients?
We do not provide body rental services to our clients. Building a high-performing development team is crucial for creating successful software products.
To achieve this, we take numerous steps to nurture a team that can realize your vision, from recruiting the right talent to cultivating a positive team culture. Therefore, we prefer establishing impactful, long-term partnerships through project-based collaborations rather than providing body rental services.
Is it necessary to know Italian to work at Buildo?
Speaking Italian is necessary if you are considering a position at Buildo, as it is the primary language used within the company, even though we use English extensively with our international clients. Knowledge of Italian is optional only for collaboration roles.
Regardless of your language skills, we will do everything possible to make you feel welcome and part of the team! We highly value and embrace diverse cultures and perspectives.
